When it comes time to remove the mower deck for cleaning or service, Simplicity's exclusive quick-hitch attachment removal system makes it easy. Begin by turning off the engine, and applying the parking brake. Lower the attachment lift, move the idler arm to release belt tension, and remove the belt from the PTO pulley. Disconnect the lift link or cable, depending upon the model. Turn the wheels completely to the left, pull back on the spring-loaded lever, and lift the mower hitch off the brackets, and slide the mower out from under the tractor. That's all there is to it.
